Mary's Life: A Makeover Story is an entertaining puzzle game where players control Hannah, a young girl who, after living an unfulfilling life as a waitress, decides to take the step and devote herself to her dream job: interior design. So, she will begin work as an interior designer, and you will be given makeover projects to get the best of out every property.

Just like in the majority of games in this genre, to be able to get enough money for furniture, flooring, paint and decorations, you have to solve match-3 type puzzles. You have to get a certain amount of pieces in each level, and you have a limited number of moves in which to do so. The more pieces you get rid of in just one move, the more points you'll get in your final score. What's more, if you manage to remove a lot of blocks of the same color at the same time, special pieces will appear that can remove entire lines of pieces. When you solve each puzzle, you'll receive a financial reward that you can use to decorate the house.

When you're decorating the house, you can try out three options for each decorative element. This lets you create a more or less unique combination and customize the house with your own style.
